Quarter in Bloom received a silver award this year for its summer planting and the work carried out on the Church front garden
Quarter Garden Competition
Our independent judge Gerry Devaney went round the village on 18th August and was very impressed by the high standard of gardens throughout, which made the allocation of awards more difficult, however there has to be a winner and the first prize goes again this year to Mr and Mrs Baird of Limekilnburn Road. Due to the high standard the judge had difficulty in deciding on the best garden from three in Darngaber Gardens and recommended a fourth prize to all three.
